Welcome

A little bit about our company and products.

My name is Craig Sorgen, owner of MicroMan Industries LLC. We started out in 2004 as a "neccesity is the mother of all inventions" manufacturer of LED light bars. The need for LED lighting that was affordable for our fire department drove me to design and produce an LED light bar bright enough and durable enough for the frugal volunteers and paid members. After trial and error, word of mouth and some local advertising, our design became very popular and in demand. This is when we named our products MicroStarBar(TM) and ArrowStar(TM). We decided to start off selling on ebay to get a feel for the market. Business really took off and we procured our first wholesale contract order for our brand. January 2007, we started providing a larger selection of LED products at reasonable prices. 2009 started us off with using Generation III LED's. Business has been steady ever since. As of todays date, we have produced and sold over 7776 inches, or 648 feet of our G3 LED light bars!

***We are now offering our LED light bars with 3 Watt LED's. These have almost twice as much light output as the 1 Watt version. The 3 Watt LED's use the same aluminum housings as the 1 watt, but will have an added heat sink on the back of the bar. This will only add about a 1/2" in depth. Pricing is very competitive. Look for these to be listed here on our site in the color choice section of each bar!***

We are now offering an expanded line of Generation III LED lightbars. The MicroStarBar G3(tm), ArrowStar G3(tm), ArrowStar G3 Flasing Ends(tm) and the Split ArrowStar G3(tm). Each bar uses full 1 watt or 3 watt Generation III LED's using advanced current regulation circuitry as well as reverse polarity protection. Each LED uses an attached columar lens to maximize the output via a 25 degree lens. An 8 degree lens is available upon request or wiith ordering a take down module. The LED's are housed in a custom black anodized extruded aluminum housing with a Lexan lens cover to protect the interior components. Interior bars sealed to be semi-weatherproof while exterior bars are sealed to be weatherproof and also uses stainless screws. Each bar will come with two end mount swivel brackets and two suction cups, The MicroStarBar G3 will come with three feet of hook up cable and will require an external flasher. Each LED module in the MicroStarBar will have its own power wire for multiple pattern configurations. The ArrowStar G3 will come with more than 18 feet of hook up cable and a Sho-Me 11.1025 15 pattern traffic advisor controller. The ArrowStar G3 can also be purchased without the controller. As with the original Gen I bars, these are made in the USA here in house.

All LED's we use are the brightest available and are bench tested before they are shipped. We have already switched to higher Lumen LED's since the release of the G3's less than a year ago. We check with our supplier every three months to see if any higher Lumen LED's have been released. Current Lumen ratings are as follows:

1 WATT MODULES

Red: 44 Lumen 1 Watt

Blue: 18 Lumen 1 Watt

White: 80 Lumen 1 Watt

Amber: 35 Lumen 1 Watt

Green: 65 Lumen 1 Watt

Each four inch section has a .30 amp draw.

3 WATT MODULES

Red: 80 Lumen 3 Watt

Blue: 30 Lumen 3 Watt

White: 150 Lumen 3 Watt

Amber: 70 Lumen 3 Watt

Green: 100 Lumen 3 Watt

Amp draw per 4" module: 0.65 amp

Our Warranty is pretty simple. If it becomes faulty and you bought it from us we will repair or replace it at no charge (within reason, if YOU broke it due to improper installation or abuse, then repair costs will be charged). We are fairly confident that we won't have to spend much time on warranty work!
